AJK Women Shine in CSS 2025: A Story of Excellence Amid Stark Realities

In a remarkable yet telling outcome of the Central Superior Services (CSS) Examination 2025, conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission, four women from Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) have secured success and earned allocation in prestigious government service groups—while notably, not a single male candidate from AJK qualified this year.

According to the final results, a total of 12,792 candidates appeared in the written examination. Out of these, only 355 candidates managed to pass the written stage, reflecting the highly competitive nature of the exam. Ultimately, 170 candidates were recommended for allocation to various civil service groups, including 84 men and 86 women, indicating a slight edge for female candidates at the national level.
